"Heritage is not static. It must breathe. The "Kinetic Riad" is a study in adaptive reuse for the Medina of Marrakesh. The concept challenges the traditional static courtyard by introducing a mechanical iris roof system. Acting as a dynamic skin, the roof aperture adjusts in real-time to solar gain and atmospheric conditions."
